HumasUPNVJ - UPN Veteran Jakarta is even 58 years old, in order to celebrate the Anniversary of UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) holding a University Open Assembly with the theme "Prime Service Towards Excellent Quality" which was conducted online on Thursday (25/02/21).

Even though it is still during the pandemic, UPNVJ continues to strive to provide innovation and transformation to realize UPNVJ's vision and mission.

This is in line with the report submitted by UPNVJ Chancellor Erna Hernawati at the University Open Session.

"The purpose of conveying readiness to realize UPNVJ's vision, I hope, will provide an overview of what we must do to realize our vision. Achieving the vision is a shared achievement so that all need to be actively involved, giving maximum contribution with full awareness and sincerity as a consequence of us being part of one organization," said the Chancellor in the University Open Session which was attended by all UPNVJ academics.

"Similar vision is the main condition for the realization of this vision, for that we need love and sincerity for UPNVJ as a place where we depend on various interests and become a means for us to succeed personally and for family success, and especially for success for UPNVJ as an organization that facilitates the success we strive for. shared vision will result in sincere cooperation. I think this will be the key to success in facing any challenge with the conditions that we have today," he added.

TNI General (Purn) Dr. H. Moeldoko, SIP in his scientific oration conveyed the theme of UPNVJ Towards International Quality Based on State Defense, according to him this theme is very relevant to the current situation, with the condition of Indonesia where Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is a superior human being who continues to learn, work hard and is dedicated so as to be able to provide innovation that turns the impossibility into an opportunity.

Moeldoko also advised to continue to maintain national sovereignty until the end of time.

"Every nation's child must have a superior mentality, the key is how Pancasila can be dynamic with today's life. "Based on a survey in 2015, 25% of young people considered Pancasila to be no longer relevant and this is a challenge for universities to restore the main ideology of this nation and instill the value of Defending the Country," he said.

Even though it was carried out online, the lively celebration of UPNVJ's 58th anniversary could still be felt by all academics by witnessing and listening to various UPNVJ's birthday greetings conveyed by state officials both from within and outside the country.

It is hoped that with this the common goal of advancing UPNVJ and uniting a shared vision can be realized and love for UPNVJ will continue to be created in the hearts of the academic community.
