HumasUPNVJ - UTU Awards is an annual competition between universities held by Teuku Umar University (UTU), Aceh, Indonesia. The UTU Awards is a fair competition for undergraduate students to showcase their creative ideas through projects, designs, and products from various disciplinary backgrounds. The UTU Awards are a great opportunity to gain prestige from students' ideas, feedback on student strategic plans, and exposure to the right audience. It's also a great way to expand your network of participating students, acquire talent, and get feedback on creative ideas from students. To find out more about this year's UTU Awards, the Vice Chancellor for student affairs and cooperation at UPN Veterans Jakarta initiated a webinar by inviting the Chancellor of UTU and his staff and presenting Dr. Firman Parlindungan as the chief executive who is also the speaker at this webinar which is being held online, Friday 16 July 2021.

Prof. Jasman, Chancellor of UTU in his remarks when opening the activity was very grateful to UPNVJ for providing a platform to socialize the 2021 UTU Awards and besides that he also talked about many things related to student innovation and creativity in today's digital era, "As you know, progress a country is dominated by existing innovations, speaking of innovation itself, namely the support of creativity and entrepreneurship that is owned, therefore the UTU Awards really want to build innovations that are owned by students in all educational institutions. he said

The activity continued with remarks from the Rector of UPNVJ, Erna Hernawati, "Hopefully useful activities like this will have extraordinary outputs . We know that those who will become "future actors" are existing students and we as an agency are only as facilitators. We will try our best but of course the most important thing comes from the students themselves, therefore let's take advantage of the opportunities that exist, one of which is participating in a really good competition like the 2021 UTU Awards.” Erna said

After remarks from the Chancellors, Disa Prihantini as the host and moderator of this webinar invited Dr. Firman Parlindungan to provide socialization material about the 2021 UTU Awards, Dr. Firman explained in detail regarding the UTU Awards starting from the competition category to showing the correct registration method to the 150 participants who attended, "The UTU Awards from year to year until the seventh time this year has always opened four categories, including; Entrepreneurship Research, Business Planning, Innovative Products Based on Agro and Marine Industries and Online Store Design. In this activity, we need five winners, from 1st, 2nd, 3rd place hope 1 to hope 2. Each winner will get cash with a total nominal value of hundreds of millions of rupiah, the opportunity to study one semester abroad and of course get a certificate and a great experience.” Clear Word
