HumasUPNVJ - The enthusiasm of the people who took part in the Covid-19 vaccination program held by the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) synergized with Polda Metro Jaya, Indonesian Student Regiment Alumni Association (IARMI) DKI Jakarta, and Jayakarta Student Regiment (Menwa) at Pondok Labu Campus UPNVJ , South Jakarta, Saturday (31/7/2021) is so high that the vaccine dose provided must be increased.
"Initially, we only targeted 400 people to take part in the vaccination. However, seeing the enthusiasm of the people who registered, 1,200 doses of the Sinovac vaccine were finally prepared," said UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP in Jakarta, Saturday (31/7/2021).
Erna said that people who want to get the Covid-19 vaccination can register beforehand through the Google Form link. However, people who come without registering online are still being served.
According to Erna, not everyone can and is able to register online because they may have limitations. Because of that, UPNVJ continues to facilitate people who come even though they didn't register beforehand.
The Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation carry out direct monitoring of vaccinations
Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, Sp.KJ, MH said that the enthusiasm of the people to participate in vaccinations was very high so that the vaccine dose was finally added again.
"We asked the Director of Community Development at Polda Metro Jaya to increase the dose of vaccine. In the end, we received an additional 500 doses of vaccine from Biddokkes Polda Metro Jaya," said Ria.
Chancellor Erna said the vaccination activity was a form of UPNVJ's support for the government in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.
"This vaccination is for the whole community. We hope that with this mass vaccination, people can get vaccinated quickly, thereby reducing the risk of being exposed to Covid-19," he said.
