HumasUPNVJ - Jakarta Veterans National Development University as a state defense campus in collaboration with Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta Indonesian Student Regiment Alumni Association (IARMI) and Jayakarta Student Regiment (Menwa) held Covid-19 vaccination for the general public and UPNVJ extended family located at campus 1, Pondok Labu, Saturday 31 July 2021.
Ikhsan Ammar as the implementing coordinator of the UPNVJ vaccine center explained the preparations that had been made by the committee to the public relations team, "The preparations we have prepared can be said to be impromptu, but everything can be handled properly by all parties involved, because we have received full support from both the leadership, education staff as well as UPNVJ students so that the mechanism and implementation of vaccinations at the Bela Negara campus run smoothly according to plan. We have also prepared the flow of the vaccination queue in such a way, starting from checking body temperature at the campus entrance gate, queuing lines, filling in personal data to the vaccination process and of course also with strict health protocols," he explained.
"We are indeed open for this vaccination not only for the UPNVJ extended family but also for the general public who have not yet received the vaccination. There were no significant obstacles that we faced in implementing the vaccination center at the Bela Negara campus. We hope that the public will have high awareness to carry out vaccinations so that the Covid-19 pandemic will end soon and hopefully the second phase of vaccination which we will also carry out on August 28 will run smoothly," hoped Ikhsan.
On the occasion when being interviewed by the public relations team, Vice Chair of the University Student Executive Board (BEM U), Sabila Rafani Aliandra representing the student team involved explained the preparation of the student team, "We students certainly prepare and screen friends who are willing to volunteer to help vaccination center at UPNVJ. Starting from administration, registration, security, operators to the vaccinator team. The only obstacle that was experienced was the preparation time which was quite sudden, the rest was running smoothly," he explained.
"For friends and the public who haven't been vaccinated, we hope that they will be vaccinated soon because this is our program to help and support the government to save Indonesia so that our environment will quickly reach the herd community so that this pandemic will end soon ," concluded Rafa at the end of his interview.
