HumasUPNVJ - The Covid 19 pandemic has been going on for almost two years, many relatives and families have preceded us because of this pandemic. The Chancellor of UPN Veteran Jakarta and the leadership team invited all UPNVJ academics to pray and dhikr together, even though online via the zoom meeting platform . (22/07)

Erna Hernawati started the prayer and dhikr activities together by giving joy and sorrow to all the families left behind, "In the midst of conditions like this we should always say adoration and praise to Allah SWT, God Almighty, Alhamdulillah, we can all still be given good health until Today. Hopefully our colleagues and family who have preceded us all can have their graves widened and for friends who are sick, hopefully their bodies will be healed soon so they can return to their activities as before, amen, O Lord of the Worlds.” Erna said

“This joint prayer and remembrance is a form of our endeavor so that we can all pray together so that conditions like this can improve soon and hopefully we can always strengthen one another in the midst of a pandemic. We have recently heard that many of our relatives, friends, colleagues and family, especially our brothers and sisters at UPNVJ, have preceded us due to this pandemic. On behalf of myself and on behalf of the extended family of UPNVJ, I express my deepest condolences. And for friends who are currently still sick, sorry if until now we can't come to visit, we can only send prayers and encouragement to all of you." Close it

Dean of the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine, dr. Taufik Pasiak was also present to give tausiyah to the invitees who attended, "Only prayer can we convey to all the families left behind, because as we all know, it is the benefits of prayer that can help us to be much stronger, believe more in God's power, God Almighty and with prayer destiny can be changed. As previously recited, the meaning of the sentence Innalillahi waa Innailaihi Roijun is that a Muslim acknowledges that everything in this world belongs to Allah and is under His control. Taufik said

“As the saying goes; Dead elephants leave their tusks, dead tigers leave their stripes, dead humans leave their good names, the same goes for the deceased who have gone before us, they all left good names and memories for us, I hope UPNVJ colleagues and extended family who have gone before us we are given the best place in the sight of Allah SWT, God Almighty, amen. InshaAllah they will always be remembered for the rest of our lives. The end of Taufik in his tausiyah

Grief is too much, I hope we are all always given health and safety and are always under the protection of Allah SWT, God Almighty.
