HumasUPNVJ - After giving a briefing, the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Marshal Madya TNI Donny Ermawan ., T MDS immediately closed the State Defense Dikwal for the education and education staff of the three UPN Veterans at the Sabang Merauke Building Air Force Academy (AAU) regional city Special Yogyakarta, Friday (24/12/21).
"I thank all parties involved. I hope the debriefing last week can be applied to everyday life, especially while being a UPN Veteran employee. The dynamics of life create things related to national defense, so efforts can be made with the awareness of State Defense being instilled as early as possible," said Donny in front of the Dikwal participants.
Donny also said the activities that had been carried out could become the foundation and protect the nation from threats and equip the nation as a virtuous and cultured nation.
"This implementation is an important matter, to maintain state sovereignty, regional security in accordance with the characteristics of State Defense that have been conveyed, the implementation of State Defense must be developed at every opportunity and other important goals are to get the attitude and character formation for employees," added Donny.
He also said employees who had attitudes and character would later improve their self-quality and be able to develop agency performance while still prioritizing the inherent disciplinary nature of individual UPN Veteran employees.
Donny also reiterated the message of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the last commemoration of Defending the Country
"The task of Defending the Country is not only carried out by the Ministry of Defense and the TNI, Polri, Defending the State is the duty of all of us who are components of the nation, so whatever our profession we have the right to commit to Defending the Country," he concluded.
It didn't stop there. In closing the Dikwal, there were three UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) lecturers who won the best participant awards from three categories, which included Dewanto Samodro the best participant on the subject of struggle, Ranila Suciati the best participant on skills material, and Jati Satrio the best participant on the favorite choice. The three of them were awarded attractive prizes such as laptops and smartphones as a reward for their learning outcomes for a full week.
Not only awards, the other participants also got a lot of interesting and unforgettable experiences and learnings during Dikwal.
