UNPVJ and UNPAD Signed Cooperation Agreement on Four Aspects of Education

UPNVJ PR - Monday (25/4/22), a team from UPN Veteran Jakarta made a visit to the Padjadjaran University campus, Jatinangor, West Java. This visit was carried out in relation with the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between UPNVJ and UNPAD. The purpose of this Cooperation Agreement is to strengthen the implementation of education, teaching, research programs, and to help each other in implementing various collaborative programs by utilizing existing resources and facilities within UPNVJ and UNPAD. Some of the areas that will be collaborated are: Library Management, Career Development Center (CDC), International Affairs Office (KUI) and Research.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Rector 1 of UNPAD, Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, dr., SpM(K), M.Kes., PhD, and Deputy Rector 4, Prof. Drs. Yanyan Mochamad Yani, MAIR., Ph.D. And as a representative of UPNVJ, Deputy Rector 1, Dr. Anter Venus, M.A, Comm.

In his speech, Venus said that the collaboration between UPNVJ and UNPAD had actually been going for a long time, “Our collaboration with UNPAD has actually been going for a long time, especially regarding the curriculum, we collaborate a lot to this day. So in practice a lot has been done but maybe they were just not recorded. That's why we thought it'd be for the best if we make it official, thus this Cooperation Agreement signing event happened. This is what we finally took to ensure whether this can be implemented immediately,” he said.

Venus also expressed his gratitude for the good reception from UNPAD. "Thank you for the warm and loving welcome, hopefully this collaboration can really be implemented in accordance with all of our expectations," continued Venus.

In line with Venus, Arief expressed his joy regarding this signing. “We are delighted and grateful for this visit. We are also happy to synergize with UPNVJ because it can provide good synergy to UNPAD. The advantages and disadvantages of UNPAD when combined with the advantages and disadvantages of UPN will certainly provide a strong enough synergy between all of us participating in advancing higher education in Indonesia," he concluded.

The event, which took place at Bale Sawala, UNPAD campus, Jatinangor, was concluded with hospitality and continued with the departure of the UPNVJ team back to Jakarta.
