UPNVJ PR - In an effort to give appreciation to the best students, UPN Veterans Jakarta (UPNVJ) has prepared the 2022 Student Achievement Election (PILMAPRES) in collaboration with the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas), the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

“Later on, there will be several selections which include regional selection, initial national selection and final national PILMAPRES. Currently, the Student Affairs section of UPNVJ is in the stage of sending letters to all faculties to later select students who have achievements in accordance with the provisions," said Deny Wijaya, Sub-Coordinator of UPNVJ Student Affairs during a meeting agenda with UPNVJ PILMAPRES assessors at Aston Hotel, Sentul, on Monday (13/06/22).

In his speech, Deny also explained that participants will be asked to upload some data as follows:

  1. portfolio of Outstanding Achievements (CU) attached with supporting evidence. Details of filling out the CU portfolio can be seen in the Appendix;
  2. Creative Ideas (GK) script to solve development problems related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The GK manuscript for the Undergraduate Program can be in the form of a concept/strategy;
  3. presentation video in English.

Deny also added that each PILMAPRES participant is required to make 1 (one) 5-minute video containing their presentation on one of the issues of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, the issue must be different from the issue of Creative Ideas (GK) that they have written.

“This is to show that the participants have an understanding of the issues of the SDGs. For example: a participant chose an issue related to Quality Education for GK that he wrote and chose an issue related to Sustainable Cities and Settlements for his Video Presentation in English,” he added.

For the speech, participants can choose one of three types of speeches: informative, persuasive and motivational speeches.

For information and consultation related to PILMAPRES, prospective participants can contact the Vice Dean for Student Affairs from each faculty available at UPNVJ.
