HumasUPNVJ - Chancellor Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati Ak, CPMA, CA officially released the UPN Veterans Jakarta (UPNVJ) contingent to take part in the Widya Mwat Yasa National Student Scientific Arts Sports Week (PORSIMNAS WIMAYA) 2022 at the Ceremony Field of the UPNVJ Campus, on Friday (8/7/22).

The UPNVJ contingent was dispatched to UPN Veterans East Java and UPN Veterans Yogyakarta with a total of approximately 200 students covering three branches, sports, arts and scientific branches.

“Good luck to all of you, the main contribution is definitely victory because this contribution is meaningful in improving the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) in the category of students who get achievements at national and international levels. Take advantage of your departure to establish friendship with the lecturers and students there, the network is the main thing, maintain health, maintain sportsmanship, maintain the good name of UPNVJ and have a good match," said UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Erna Hernawati in her speech.

In his report, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa explained that in the Sports branch, UPNVJ sent 121 contingents that will compete in E-sports, swimming, basketball, badminton, karate, pencak silat, volleyball, taekwondo and futsal. In addition, the UPNVJ Art branch sent 1 team of students for the Choir, 1 Pesparawi team, 8 MTQ participants and 1 Dance team.

Then the UPNVJ Scientific branch sent a contingent in the Student Creativity/Scientific-Research Program which consisted of 13 teams, the Robot Contest and the National Defense Service Community Service with 1 team, and the Debate Competition 2 teams.

dr. Ria also said that in the future, the prestigious event will compete for 103 medals, consisting of 78 medals for the Sports branch, 14 for the Arts branch, and 11 for the Scientific branch.

This year's PORSIMNAS WIMAYA carries the theme of Innovation and Achievement of the Generation of State Defense Through the Wimaya Porsimnas which will be held for a full week starting from July 11 to July 23, 2022.
