HumasUPNVJ – Known as the State Defense Campus, UPN Veteran Jakarta is certainly committed to and shows full support for the 2021 Minister of Education, Research and Technology Regulation concerning the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education Environment. The concrete manifestation that was carried out by the campus was by selecting Members of the Selection Committee for the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence specifically within the UPN Veterans Jakarta environment.
Enthusiasm from the UPN Veteran Jakarta community both from lecturers, teaching staff, and students is quite high. The results of the online selection through e - learning resulted in 21 candidates for the selection committee members. Prospective members who are declared to have passed must pass the Public Examination. The public test which was carried out in a hybrid manner on Monday (08/08/2022) was aimed at determining eligibility and to trace the track records of 21 prospective members. "From 24 prospective members of the UPNVJ task force selection committee who have conducted e - learning training and selection, 21 prospective members of the UPNVJ task force selection committee have been obtained. After being declared passed, 21 people must pass a public test, which will be selected at least three and a maximum of seven." Said the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation.
.
The candidates were then tested by three panelists, both external and internal; 1) Cinere Police Chief Kompol Jun Nurhaida Tampubolon, SH, 2) Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. dr. Ria Marisa Theresa, SpKJ., MH, and PLT AKPK Bureau Head Dra. Intan Hesti Indriana, MM. The answers from the prospective members of the selection committee to the questions raised by the panelists became an important point to consider their eligibility.
In addition, for the smoothness and success of this public test activity, Ria hopes that there will be participation from the entire UPN Veteran Jakarta community in the form of information on the candidates' track records and also input that can be submitted via a link that has been shared no later than August 8, 2022 ( https://s .id/ujipublicUPNVJ ).
To whoever will be elected to the Selection Committee, Ria advised them to choose a PPKS task force that is good, qualified, and meets the requirements in order to create a civilized campus. "The PPKS task force that will be chosen by the selection committee will later be able to take responsibility and also understand their duties and authorities in preventing and handling sexual violence within the UPNVJ environment. Hopefully what we are doing today can provide the best, of course for us, UPNVJ, and also Indonesia." Rias message.
On the other hand, it is great hope that the Cinere Police Chief with the formation of the selection committee and the task force unit can reduce cases of sexual violence, especially in the university environment. "Hopefully this activity will go well and hopefully having a task force on handling or preventing sexual violence at the tertiary level can reduce the level of sexual violence and it will not happen again." Jun said.
