Plt Director General of Diktiristek Reminds Graduates about Intellectual Responsibility

HumasUPNVJ – Acting Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Prof. Ir. Nizam M.Sc, DIC, PhD reminded the graduates of the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University about the intellectual responsibilities that would follow after being declared passed and graduated.

"Names increase in length with educational degrees, but responsibility also arises as intellectuals to be of use to oneself, family, society, nation and country," said Nizam in the 69th Graduation Ceremony of the Diploma, Professional and Masters Program which was held at Balai Jakarta Convention Center Meeting, Jakarta, Sunday (25/9/2022).

According to Nizam, the journey to a world of career began at graduation. Previously, graduates studied from elementary school to university with the status of students and students, now they will leave that status and enter the professional world.

Nizam believes that the provision of science and technology obtained while studying at UPNVJ is sufficient to become the basis for moving into the professional world. Equally important are the morals, spirit, morality and values of State Defense taught by UPNVJ.

Nizam said alma mater means foster mother. Even though it has been abandoned, UPNVJ will still be the alma mater so that the graduates still have to achieve as high as possible to make their parents and foster mothers proud.

“Father and mother's prayers are always with you. Various supports, both physical and moral, are always given.
