HumasUPNVJ - The Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) academic community deserves to be proud. The reason is, on Saturday (15/10), the State Defense Campus again inaugurated a Professor, Prof.Dr. Wicipto Setiadi, SHMH Wicipto became a Professor in the field of Law at the UPNVJ Law Faculty.

This inauguration event was packaged in the University Senate Open Session which was held at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Hall, Rectorate Building, Pondok Labu Campus.

In his scientific oration, Wicipto raised the topic of the Urgency of Establishing a One-Stop System Regulatory Management Body in the Executive Branch as an Effort to Support Regulatory Reform. In his writings, Wicipto emphasized that in the framework of regulatory reform/structuring, it is necessary to be supported by regulation management institutions that are capable of integrating and at the same time synergizing the authority of existing institutions.

The event was also attended by public officials, among others; Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Dr. Anwar Usman, Chair of the Judicial Commission, Prof. Mukti Fajar Nur Dewata, Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights, Prof. Dr. Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej, SH, M.Hum. and Former Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia (2011-2014), Dr. Amir Shamsuddin.

At the end of his speech, Wicipto conveyed his hopes for the audience "Hopefully my achievements will benefit all of us."

"I got this achievement in a quite long and winding journey, hopefully this can be a motivation for others," he said.

UPNVJ Chancellor, Prof. In her speech at the event, Erna Hernawati expressed her joy regarding the inauguration of Professor to Wicipto. "I am very grateful for the implementation of this event, and I congratulate Mr. Wicipto for what Mr. Wicipto achieved with the highest degree in the academic field. I hope this achievement can be followed by other teachers."

"This is the second professor at the Faculty of Law and God willing, the scientific oration delivered by Prof. Wicipto will provide a lot of benefits to us and I thank you for Professor Wicipto's contribution so far to the Faculty of Law," explained Erna.
