HumasUPNVJ - Approaching the process of accepting new prospective students, Public Relations of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta received many outreach invitations to become resource persons at several schools in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (Jabodetabek) and its surroundings. This time, Public Relations was specially invited by SMA Lab School Cibubur to attend a Seminar on State Universities in the SMA Lab School 2023 Career Day activity. This activity was held in a hybrid manner, online via zoom meeting which presented parents of students and for offline activities took place in the Lab Hall The school which was attended by around 200 class XII students and also attended by teachers, school principals and Indonesian Education Figures, Prof. Arief Rachman as Lab School High School Advisor. SMA Lab School 2023 Career Day was held for several days with the theme, "Carefully and Thoroughly Developing Strategies to Enter State Universities", inviting UPNVJ and several other PTNs.
Disa Prihantini representing the UPNVJ Public Relations Technical Implementation Unit Head served as a resource person at the event, accompanied by other Public Relations staff, Cindy Octaviani, Reyhan Mahendra and Safirah Hairulnisah. In his presentation, Disa explained in detail about the pattern of new student admissions, the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) process, the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT), the Independent Selection pathway (SEMA UPNVJ), infrastructure, scholarships, excellence and UPNVJ accreditation, level of stringency majors, tips and tricks, requirements for each entry route and the time span of each pathway as well as differences in entry pathways each year, "There are three pathways for accepting prospective new students at UPNVJ, namely SNBP, SNBT and SEMA. All routes already have their own systems and policies. All actual pathways each year have the same pattern, but there are indeed several new policies that are implemented in accordance with the directions and information from the National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) https://snpmb.bppp.kemdikbud.go.id/ ”.
Disa and the UPNVJ Public Relations team were honored by the enthusiasm of all participants which could be seen from their enthusiasm during the discussion session. Not only that, it is an honor that UPNVJ Public Relations can have the opportunity to meet directly with Indonesian Education Figures, Prof. Arief Rachman as Lab School High School Advisor.

The activity ended with the giving of mementos from SMA Lab School to UPNVJ.
