First Batch of UTBK-SNBT at UPNVJ Runs Smoothly, Attendance of Participants is 95 Percent

The implementation of the Test-Based National Selection Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK-SNBT) at the Development University "Veteran" Jakarta has entered its last day in the first batch on Sunday (14/5). From the first to the last day of UTBK, the overall implementation of the exam went relatively smoothly.

Indeed, there were some mistakes made by the participants, such as not carrying their participant cards or in the wrong location, but these did not have a significant impact on the series of activities.

"Regarding the implementation of the exam, we did not find any acts of participant cheating, be it cheating, using communication devices or recording. We did not find that," said the UPNVJ UTBK Executive Coordinator, Fajar Nugroho, S.Kom., MP

Even so, continued Fajar, there were several participants who experienced pain on the day of the exam. The reasons are varied, ranging from not eating, not feeling well, even having an accident on D-Day.

From a supervisory point of view, the Location Manager (PJL) always gives directions in advance to supervisors every day. Supervisors are reminded of important matters regarding exam supervision.

Regarding facilities and infrastructure, the committee often found several minor problems during the exam, including damage to the air conditioner (AC) during the exam. When that happens, the committee first installs the fan and then fixes the air conditioner when the session ends.

All computers for UTBK, whether at the UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus or the UPNVJ Limo Campus, are checked carefully before the exam starts. The server is also checked to make sure it is connected to the central committee.

"In order to improve services and facilities, we ask participants to fill out a questionnaire. Participants may provide input when they find things they feel uncomfortable with, or something is missing from the committee's services," said Fajar.

From the level of attendance of participants, UTBK-SNBT batch one at UPNVJ was classified as good, above 95 percent. There are five percent who do not attend because they are late, don't want to continue UTBK, or are on the wrong schedule.

Learning from the experience of the first batch, the participants in the second batch are expected to check the schedule and various conditions more carefully so that the exams run smoothly.

"Please pay attention to each participant's card, when is the exam, morning or afternoon session, at Pondok Labu or Limo, please confirm again," said Fajar.

The second batch of participants are also encouraged to bring document requirements during the exam, such as Exam Cards, Diplomas, Graduation Certificates, Class 12 Certificates, and Identity Cards.

"Don't forget to eat before the exam so you don't get sick. Also, prepare your own exam material," concluded Fajar.
