HumasUPNVJ - A total of 10 study programs at the "Veteran" Jakarta National Development University (UPNVJ) have been submitted for international accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). This submission aims to improve the quality of learning and UPNVJ's ranking at the national and international levels.
If everything goes according to plan, the FIBAA assessor team will visit UPNVJ on June 20-22.
In the context of this International Accreditation, various activities have been carried out, such as workshops on preparing SER documents and Appendices, mentoring programs with the Directorate General of Higher Education, workshops on preparing on site documents , and including document reviews by internal LP3M as quality assurance.
The ten UPNVJ study programs submitted to obtain FIBAA accreditation are divided into several clusters according to scientific fields. For example, for the humanities scientific field, it is included in a cluster consisting of International Relations, Communication Studies, Political Science, and Law study programs.
"Targeting all study programs to pass unconditionally , so that they really represent the quality of study programs, and also guarantee UPNVJ's quality reputation that meets international standards," said UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Anter Venus, MA. Comm.
To ensure the study program's readiness ahead of the field visitation, LP3M has re-checked documents and conducted special interviews with all parties involved. This activity is expected to strengthen the preparation for the visitation assessment according to the target, so that the ten UPNVJ study programs can be accredited internationally.
"FIBAA preparations have been made since last year, starting from the SER ( Self Evaluation Review ) document, supporting data documents, presentation preparation, translation preparation, to international standard infrastructure," said Venus.
Meanwhile, UPNVJ's position ranking at the national level continues to improve from time to time. UPNVJ was in the 1,400s in 2016, rose sharply to 400 in 2018, and then jumped dramatically to 77 in 2021.
"At the international level, UPNVJ is currently trying to enter the international ranking arena, both for QS, Webometric , as well as EduRank and UniRank ," said Venus.
