HumasUPNVJ - Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) and Global Health Focus (GHF), a network of students and professionals who focus on global health, held the "GHF Research Seminar 2023" with the theme "Achieving University Excellence through Research". This event is a scientific writing and publication workshop held specifically for lecturers at the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University. ( July 17, 2023)
As part of a collaboration with the UPN Veteran Jakarta Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), GHF presents prominent sources who have contributed a lot to the world of global health research and scientific publications in quality international journals. This seminar aims to form critical thinkers and leaders in the field of global health and provide opportunities for lecturers to learn and collaborate with experts in their fields.

Prof. Don-Eliseo Lucero-Prisno III, Founder of Global Health Focus, Editor-in-Chief of Public Health Challenges (Wiley), and Faculty Member at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Prof. Dewi Susanna, a Professor at the Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia.
The 2023 GHF Research Seminar took place from 08.00 to 16.00 WIB and was held in the Unity in Diversity Room, 4th Floor of the Rectorate Building, UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus, with a total of 15 participants. They can learn interactively and get insights on how to improve the quality of scientific writing and publications. This event also aims to open opportunities for the writings resulting from this workshop to be published in Scopus indexed journals.
This event is the first step in the collaboration between GHF and UPNVJ in building a winning community of researchers and global health leaders. UPN Veteran Jakarta's vision to become a center for disaster preparedness studies is also increasingly receiving support in this series of global health events.
