Public Relations UPNVJ - In an effort to prepare quality Indonesian human resources (HR) that have international competitiveness, the Indonesian Government continues to improve the competency and professionalism (ability to act professionally) of graduates of undergraduate higher education (S1) through various programs and incentives. Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 59 of 2018 concerning Diplomas, Competency Certificates, Professional Certificates, Degrees and Procedures for Writing Degrees in Higher Education provides a mandate for tertiary graduates to have their competency certified.
A Competency Certificate is a document that contains a statement regarding a graduate's competency according to their expertise in their branch of knowledge and/or achievements outside their study program. The issuance of Competency Certificates aims to provide written evidence regarding recognition of competency for graduates' achievements in accordance with expertise in their branch of knowledge and/or achievements outside their study program.
In the context of implementing competency tests or Competency Based Assessments, it requires the availability of Competency Assessors ( Workplace Assessors ) as one of the main components in the assessment process. Assessors have a strategic position and role because they will greatly determine the quality of the competency tests carried out.
In the context of Competency Certification for UPN Veteran Jakarta graduates, qualified internal assessors are required who have an official license from BNSP. In connection with the addition of new schemes at LSP UPN Veteran Jakarta, it is necessary to add assessors to LSP UPN Veteran Jakarta. It is hoped that this activity can increase the quantity and quality of assessors in the LSP UPN Veteran Jakarta environment. In line with this, UPNVJ organizes assessor training in the campus environment. ( 28 August- 1 September 2023)
