Cool! PSVJ Wins Medals in the IPSI 3 Kemenpora Pencak Silat Championship

HumasUPNVJ – Adding to the glorious achievements, 20 UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) pencak silat athletes who are members of the student activity unit Named Pencak Silat Veteran Jakarta or commonly abbreviated as PSVJ, won 35 medals in the Kemenpora IPSI 3 Pencak Silat Championship held at the State Polytechnic Malang, East Java. The Championship lasts for two days from the 2nd and ends on September 3, 2023.

PSVJ has often made the name of their alma mater proud by winning many medals in every competition they participated in. The athletes who fought at the Malang State Polytechnic showed their superior technique and skills in a fierce final match.

In the competition, of the 20 athletes sent, each managed to beat their opponents from various universities with extraordinary performances. This victory not only brings pride to UPNVJ but also shows the dedication and hard work of every athlete in the sport of pencak silat.

The Kemenpora IPSI 3 Pencak Silat Championship is a competition that is quite anticipated by pencak silat lovers from various universities in Indonesia, and PSVJ proves that they are one of the best in this discipline.

The PSVJ team as a whole won 35 medals with details of the acquisition namely 13 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze. This achievement confirmed their dominance in this championship and made them the 2nd National General Champion with only 3 gold medals difference from the 1st Overall Champion namely the East Java Regional Police Pencak Silat Team.

UPNVJ is of course very proud of their extraordinary achievement in this prestigious championship. Hopefully this achievement will be an inspiration for the next generation in the world of pencak silat.
