UPNVJ Rectorate Capacity Building: Strengthening Cooperation and Synergy

Public RelationsUPNVJ - Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University continues to grow and is increasingly known to the wider public from year to year. Currently, the name UPNVJ is already in the top ranks of well-known state universities in Indonesia.

According to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus, ST, MT, UPNVJ is a large university, and opportunities to develop it further are wide open.

He emphasized that UPNVJ's current reputation must be maintained, and one way is to provide the best service to all students.

"Service is the most important part, not just learning. We must also be able to show daily service, that we provide excellent service," said Henry when filling the UPNVJ Rectorate Capacity Building activity in Bandung, West Java on Thursday, November 23 2023.

"Our job is to serve students. We have to leave behind the old cultures that thought we only came to the office to work," he continued.

In developing UPNVJ to the next level, Henry emphasizes the importance of giving the best and helping each other in getting the job done. He also asked all academics not to put each other down, by realizing that everyone's abilities are not the same.

Henry warned everyone to never feel better than someone else. He said that, "It could be that on the one hand we are better than our friends, but in other areas our friends are actually much better."

Regarding the work culture at UPNVJ, Henry understands that there are jobs that can be done alone. However, he reminded that there is much more work that can be done together.

Through cooperation and synergy between academics, UPNVJ is believed to be able to continue to develop and compete with a number of other top universities in Indonesia.

"This is the task of all of us. We have to have the energy for it. There is no time for us to tear each other down at UPN Veteran Jakarta. We have to help each other," said Henry.
