Public Relations UPNVJ – Today, Monday, July 22 2024, the 2024 Batch 1 PKM Program Progress Assessment (PKP2) implementation was officially carried out after yesterday (21/07) being officially opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Suning Kusumawardani, ST, MT as Director of Belmawa, Ministry of Education and Culture.
The implementation of PKP2 Batch 1 of 2024, which is scheduled to last until July 26, will be held online via Zoom. UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) in this implementation plays the role of hosting PKP2 organizers who provide facilities to support the continuity of PKP2 implementation.
On the first day of implementation, more than 160 student teams from various universities in Indonesia attended to showcase their innovative ideas in the field of entrepreneurship (PKM-K). PKM-K is said to be the most PKM registered this year. In order to facilitate the assessment of submitted proposals, the Belmawa Directorate Team prepared 18 rooms on the Zoom platform. In each room there are two host-cohosts who moderate the presentation activities for 20 proposals.
Each team made a presentation to report on the progress of implementing the Student Creativity Program (PKM). The initial presentation session from each team was used as a forum for them to show off their initial prototype and implementation plan to a panel of judges consisting of expert lecturers in their fields. A panel of judges provided constructive feedback to help teams develop their ideas further.
According to Febri, the implementing team from the Belmawa Directorate, Directorate General of Education and Technology, Ministry of Education and Culture, on the first day of implementation, technical adjustments were still being made but there were no serious obstacles that hampered the activities.
Apart from that, Febri explained that there were eight PKM schemes in the implementation of PKP2. "To implement this, there are eight schemes, first is Entrepreneurship, then Economics Research, Innovative Work, Creative Initiatives, Community Service, Application of Science and Technology, Social Humanities Research, and Constructive Idea Videos." Febri said to the UPNVJ Public Relations Team when interviewed at the Computer Lab of the Faculty of Computer Science, where PKP2 was held.
Febri conveyed that overall the first day of PKP2 Batch 1 2024 implementation activities went quite smoothly thanks to the support of adequate facilities ranging from sophisticated information technology support, computers with good specifications, fast internet network connections, adequate rooms, and other facilities that support activities. online so it can be done comfortably.
"From the opening it was extraordinary, with the support of the IT team of course because we PKP2 really rely on computer and IT infrastructure. "So it's quite smooth here, the connection is smooth, yes, then the specs provided by the computer are also very good, then and so on the infrastructure is very good." Obviously.
