Public RelationsUPNVJ - Good news comes from the Taekwondo Student Activity Unit (UKM) at the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta. In the Bharaduta Championship 5 2024, UKM Taekwondo Veteran Jakarta (Taveja) managed to win eight medals, namely four gold and four silver.

The Taekwondo Bharaduta Championship 5 Kemenpora Cup will take place at GOR Ciracas, East Jakarta on 12-14 July 2024.

Before taking part in the championship, the UKM Taekwondo UPNVJ team prepared for the match outside of regular training. Training at the Training Center is carried out every day from Monday to Friday for three weeks.

The supervisor of UKM Taveja, Taupiqqurrahman, SH, M.Kn, said he was grateful for this extraordinary achievement. However, he and the team are not complacent, and are committed to maintaining or even improving their achievements in the future.

Throughout 2024, said Taupiqqurrahman, the UKM Taveja team has participated in the competition three times, and almost all of the competitors have won medals.

"Currently, UKM Taveja is trying to ensure that those who take part in the Takwondo championship are not only from the management and membership, but also non-members who we will later recruit as members after or while they are taking part in the competition," said Taupiqqurrahman.
