Mahfud MD Encourages UPNVJ Students to Become the New Wave of Indonesian Development

HumasUPNVJ - Former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD ignited the spirit of National Defense in his speech in front of more than 4,300 new students of the National Development University "Veteran" at the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) UPNVJ event at Tennis Indoor Senayan Jakarta, Monday, August 12, 2024.

Mahfud MD emphasized that all people, including UPNVJ students, should be proud to live in a big country like Indonesia.

Not only proud, UPNVJ students are also encouraged to contribute to the nation and state through hard work.

"A person's success is obtained from hard work. Without hard work, there will be no success. Maybe there are those who can succeed without working, but that is 1 in 1000," said Mahfud.

Once again, Mahfud said that Indonesia is a big country, both in terms of demographics, geography, and history. Therefore, it is only right that all citizens must guard this beloved country and guide it towards Indonesia Emas 2045.

Indonesia Gold 2045

Mahfud said that if all of Indonesia's wealth is managed well, then Golden Indonesia 2045 will no longer be a dream, but will be realized in the first century of independence.

"All of you must now guard this country and fill it towards a truly effective Golden Indonesia. Our country is great not only in terms of its demographics and geography, but we have a great history as a nation. You all need to know that Indonesia is the only country in the world that is independent because it expelled the colonizers," he explained.

Finally, Mahfud again invited all UPNVJ academics to jointly safeguard the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

"All of you must become a new wave for the development of Indonesia's future, so that Golden Indonesia can truly be achieved. Happy studying, keep fighting, and don't get tired of always loving this NKRI," Mahfud concluded.
