HumasUPNVJ - The Bachelor of Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science (FIK), National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) has successfully achieved 'Very Good' accreditation from the Independent Informatics and Computer Accreditation Institute (LAM-INFOKOM)

The decision is stated in the Decree of the Independent Informatics and Computer Accreditation Institute number 115/SK/LAM-INFOKOM/AK/S/VII/2024).

Head of the Information Systems Undergraduate Study Program, Anita Muliawati, S.Kom., MTI said that there was an increase in value from the previous one, although this result was not actually in accordance with the study program's main target.

"Alhamdulillah, with the accreditation results that have been received 'Very Good' with a score of 342, there is an increase from the previous score of 321. Although it is not in accordance with the target we expected, namely Excellent accreditation," he said.

On this occasion, Anita stated that there are many aspects that must be of concern to FIK, especially the Information Systems study program, based on the results of the field assessment.

"The main thing that we must pay attention to is Human Resources (HR), lecturers with a doctoral degree are less than 50 percent and the academic rank of Senior Lecturer has not been fulfilled so that in the future it can be a priority for us," said Anita.

"In addition, we will also increase internationalization activities for lecturers and students as well as fund management to improve the quality of human resources that have not yet been met," he added.

It is hoped that the existing deficiencies can be evaluated and prioritized in the future.

"From yesterday's results, we will try to increase the number of lecturers with advanced doctoral studies and the academic rank of Senior Lecturer and increase international cooperation and additional funds to improve the quality of human resources at RKAKL," concluded Anita.
