FISIP UPNVJ Officially Launches Film, Television, and Media Studies Study Program.

Public RelationsUPNVJ — Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) today officially launched the Film, Television, and Media Studies (FTVM) Study Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP). The launch of this study program is expected to open up new opportunities in education and research in the media field and contribute to the development of the creative industry in Indonesia.

The launching of FTVM was held at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium UPNVJ (2/9) attended by various parties, including university officials, lecturers, students, and representatives from other campuses in the Jabodetabek area. In his speech, the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Dr. Anter Venus, explained that this study program is part of the university's efforts to respond to the demands of the times and the needs of the ever-growing job market.

"The launch of the Film, Television, and Media Studies Study Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of UPNVJ is our strategic step in expanding the scope of education at UPNVJ. We believe that with a comprehensive curriculum and adequate facilities, this program will be able to produce male and female students who will later become competent professionals in the media industry in the years to come," said the Chancellor.

The program is designed with a curriculum that integrates theory and practice, covering subjects such as film studies, television production, digital media studies, and media journalism. Students will gain hands-on experience through practical projects and internships at leading media companies.

On the same occasion, the launching event was also filled with a national seminar presenting Riri Riza, a film director ( Film Director ) and Theresia Romula as a TV director ( TV Director ) as speakers. FTVM Fisip UPNVJ collaborated with the Indonesian TV Directors Association.

The FTVM Fisip UPNVJ Study Program is expected to not only enrich students' knowledge about media, but also open up new career opportunities in this ever-growing field. With this program, UPNVJ hopes to contribute to producing innovative and highly competitive media professionals at the national and international levels who still have the identity of defending the country.
