HumasUPNVJ - Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) conducted a working visit to UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) with the aim of strengthening synergy and cooperation between the two campuses, which is expected to provide positive benefits for both parties.
During the visit, the leaders of the two universities discussed various potential collaborations covering academic fields, research, program development, and improving the quality of human resources.
UPNVY plans to encourage lecturer exchange to UPNVJ according to their fields, to improve academic collaboration between the two institutions which is held offline. It is expected that this exchange program can mutually support the development of lecturer capacity and create a more dynamic academic environment.
In the discussion, both parties encouraged inbound outbound students through joint collaboration, with the aim of increasing the number of students participating in student exchanges at UPNVY. UPNVY lecturers were also encouraged to collaborate more with UPNVJ regarding joint research.
The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Information Systems of UPNVY encourages the implementation of collaboration with UPNVJ in the field of student affairs, for example through the Student Activity Unit (UKM), Student Executive Board (BEM), and activities involving students and cooperation.
Also discussed was the foreign student exchange scheme as an opportunity to encourage the internationalization of UPNVJ and UPNVY.
The achievement of UPNVJ's Key Performance Indicators (KPI) was also discussed in this meeting, which will be used as a reference by UPNVY in improving its own KPI by implementing the strategies that have been prepared by UPNVJ.
Several other issues discussed in the meeting included academic journals, competency certification, employee exchanges and also the benchmarking plan of the UPNVY Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute (LPMPP) to UPNVJ regarding internationalization accreditation and quality assurance systems.
