Every June 1 is commemorated as the Birthday of Pancasila and is designated as a national holiday. UPN "Veteran" Jakarta employees and academics carried out the Pancasila Day Commemoration Ceremony which took place at the Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo (FK) UPN "Veteran" Jakarta which was held at 08.00 WIB, on Saturday (01/06/19).

Head of BPIP (Hariyono)   in his remarks read by the Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, Dr. Erna Hernawati., Ak., CPMA., CA. conveyed that Pancasila has become the guideline for our Unitary State, Pancasila as the basis of the State, the State ideology and the nation's outlook on life explored by the "founders of the nation" is an incomparable gift from God Almighty for the Indonesian nation. Even though we as a nation have not perfectly succeeded in realizing the values of Pancasila, we admit that the existence of Indonesianness, both as a nation and as a nation, has survived to this day thanks to Pancasila.

Thanks to Pancasila as the guiding star of the existing diversity, it can be woven into a national identity in the container and slogan "B hinneka Tunggal Ika”. In that context, according to President Jokowi's message that commemorating and celebrating the birthday of Pancasila every June 1 is a necessity. To honor the services of the nation's founders as well as strengthen our commitment to the state ideology, we commemorate the birth of Pancasila as one of our national prides.

Furthermore, in his speech the Chancellor of UPNVJ said that by commemorating the birth of Pancasila every June 1, we must be more united to build the nation so that we can realize a harmonious, peaceful, just, prosperous and prosperous society in justice. We are Indonesia, we are Pancasila.
