HumasUPNVJ - In order to improve itself to become a tertiary institution that is of high quality and has an international reputation, UPN Veteran Jakarta plans to collaborate in the medical field with the Foundation De l'Académie Médecine (FAM) and Airbus Helicopters Foundation which will be held in Nusantara Room 1 UPN Veteran Jakarta on Thursday (13/06/19)
FAM is a foundation that has been officially recognized by the French Authorities since 26 December 2013, the mission of the Foundation of the French Academy of Medicine Fondation De l'Académie Médecine (FAM) is to promote partnerships between French medicine and medicines from around the world thereby accelerating the spread of international advanced medical practice. Its actions are based on increased collaboration with the Medical Academy or equivalent. The foundation also has the ambition to contribute to improving health around the world as much as possible.
In this collaboration FAM will collaborate with the Airbus Helicopters Foundation which will provide the most efficient helicopter solutions for its customers by serving, protecting, saving lives and carrying passengers safely in demanding environments. Its helicopters operate in more than 150 countries around the world, performing nearly every type of vertical flight task imaginable. The company's product line offers civilian, government, military, law enforcement, and public use.
This cooperation plan was welcomed by all UPNVJ leaders, especially the Chancellor of UPNVJ who in this case was represented by Halim Mahfud Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation and Student Affairs "I and all leaders really appreciate this collaboration plan. I am also proud that UPNVJ can be chosen as the place for the Disaster Medicine Training as the first in Indonesia, with this it can also improve the quality and quality of education, especially at UPNVJ," he said.
The implementation of this collaboration is the holding of Disaster Medicine Training which is located at UPN Veteran Jakarta involving the Indonesian Emergency medical professional association, Basarnas, Ministry of Health Crisis Center, BNBP, Crescent Health World Organization and UPNVJ Lecturers both Doctors and Nurses who are related to disaster learning with the number of participants 100 people. It is planned that this training will be held in October and November, with teaching staff brought in directly from France (Academie Nationale de Medecine Framce) and their helicopters.
