Webinar Law Festival Law Faculty UPN Veteran Jakarta Law Politics of the Indonesian Government Amid the Health Crisis Due to the Covid – 19 Pandemic

HumasUPNVJ - The Faculty of Law UPN Veteran Jakarta is again holding a Veteran Law Festival which was held on Thursday, October 1 2020 yesterday. This year's series of law fests are: webinars, essays , e-sport , and charity . This year's law fest presents several speakers, including: Keynote Speaker Dr. HM Aziz Syamsuddin SE, SH., MAF, MH as deputy chairman of the DPR for Politics and Security, DR. Dr. Erlina Burhan, M.Sc. Sp.P(K) as a Pulmonary Specialist in the Infection Division, Department of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine, FK UI) and several other speakers, namely: Dr. Wicipto Setiadi, SH, MH (FH UPNVJ Academic), Bivitri Susanti, SH, LL.M (Constitutional Law Expert and STHI Jentera Academician), and Feri Amsari SH, MH, LL.M (Director of the Center for Constitutional Studies – PUSaKO FH University Andalas).

This activity was opened by remarks from the chief executive of the 2020 law festival , Adinda Permana Putri, "This webinar is the opening of a series of events for the 2020 law festival . The veteran law festival is an annual event held by the UPNVJ FH Student Executive Board. This law fest is held online, different from last year due to the co-19 pandemic. We hope that this webinar will benefit us all.” Adinda said

Followed by remarks from the head of BEM FH, Fikhri Syafar, "This activity has been running for 5 years or you could say it is the fifth Veteran Law . Initially, the closing of our activity was going to be closed with a concert or art performance, but due to the obstacles we are still experiencing right now, namely the Covid 19 pandemic, considering this, BEM FH decided to change the series of closing events into charity activities, namely donation events that more useful of course for many people ". Fikhri explained

H. Abdul Halim M.Ag, as the Dean of the Faculty of Law UPNVJ, also gave a speech, in his remarks he said, "We always support all activities which certainly have a positive impact. On behalf of the faculty leadership, I would like to thank all parties involved, especially the committee and resource persons who took the time to attend. This Faculty of Law really needs strengthening to compete on a national and international scale, with this activity, of course, you will be able to get these strengths. Halim said

The activity continued with material from the speakers and closed with a joint discussion.
