This activity was held as a strategic step for UPNVJ in an effort to prepare students who have competencies that can compete and meet the needs of the industrial world so that graduates can be maximally absorbed.

"The existence of Covid-19 has changed the whole order of life in all aspects. In this condition, of course, we as PTN must have fast strategic steps to accommodate all the changes that exist. This activity can provide us with enlightenment by the speakers for the transformation of the management of superior international quality PTNs," said Chancellor Erna Hernawati at the opening of the national webinar event, on Tuesday (12/01/21).

This national webinar, which was attended by approximately 400 participants which included representatives of PTNs throughout Indonesia, presented two competent speakers, the first resource person was Prof. Eko Indrajit in his explanation emphasized on business and management practices, basically the Tri Dharma of higher education which has three main sources of institutional income, namely teaching, research and services.

By carrying out a portfolio of activities for these three sources of income, the proportion of higher education institutions' sources of income will vary greatly. By mapping the various units against the activities carried out, a number of blocks can be identified that can be managed independently.

"There will be a number of blocks under institutional management that can be easily managed as a portfolio by the holding institution. With this management we can find out the usefulness of each portfolio. For each unit block, its characteristics are identified and clarified again to get the right model according to the industry and the public," said Prof. Eco Indrajit.

The Prof also emphasized that by building Information and Communication Technology (ICT) connections between existing tertiary institutions, the largest IC network in the archipelago will be created. The network in question can only be created in a scalable and sustainable manner if there is cooperation within the framework of a public private partnership .

As the second guest speaker, Prof. Hendro Wicaksono explained in detail the seven elements as an effort to transform PTN management into international quality superior universities. According to Prof. Dr. ing.
