HumasUPNVJ - This year is felt to be lucky for UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) hundreds of achievements at both national and international levels have been engraved. As an appreciation for the achievements that have been achieved by students, UPNVJ held a Kaleidoscope of Student Achievements 2021 at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, on Thursday (30/12/21).
The first Kaleidoscope of Student Achievement 2021 was held by UPNVJ to give awards to students who have made achievements in the past year.
"Today is a happy day that also makes me proud, the students added to their resume with proud achievements and bonuses contributed to the name of the UPNVJ alma mater," said UPNVJ Chancellor Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP proudly in front of hundreds of outstanding students who present in person or online on the UPNVJ Youtube channel.
“Later, when you graduate, the main provision will be the good name of your previous campus, so always do positive and beneficial things. I always say that through a survey of 456 CEOs in developed countries the first place in the survey results when wanting to recruit employees is creativity so it's not just GPA that is the main point to be able to compete in the industrial world but the provision of creativity that will take you to a place you like later " Erna added.
“Thank you for showing your creativity and abilities. Continue to continue to target achievements that will be made in 2022, those who feel that they have not been able to make achievements, then round up your determination and enthusiasm, don't graduate with only a diploma, make achievements that make the name of our nation, family and campus proud together, "Erna concluded.
This activity presented seven students as representatives from the seven Faculties available at UPNVJ to share their experiences in getting the achievements achieved, the representatives appeared to tell stories in front of the 300 outstanding students who attended the event.
The first story comes from Rosi Julianti, a Banking and Finance Diploma student at the Faculty of Economics and Business who won 1st place at the international level in the Global Chatbot 2021 competition.
Apart from Rosi, Renasya Nur Sarifah, Faculty of Medicine, won 1st place at the national level in the Medical Workshop and Colloquium of Yarsi (MERCY 2021), Riyanda Diyosi Agista, an Industrial Engineering student who won 4 championships in different events at the national level, namely 1st place in the Video Competition. Covid 19 Education, 2nd place in the Rising Unpar 2021 event and short video competition and the best winner in the Independence Video Competition.
Hino Samuel Jose, an International Relations student who won 1st and 3rd place at the national level in the Paper Presentation event at the 33rd Indonesian International Relations Student National Meeting (PSNMHII) 2021 and Indonesia Model United Nations 2021.
Not only that, there is Hana Hanifah , an Information Systems student who won 1st place at the national level and recipient of a 2021 student entrepreneurship funding grant, Bayu Saputra a Nutrition student with national and international achievements which include 1st place in Working Together to Serve Better Communities (Workforce). 2021, Bronze Medal for World Youth Invention and Innovation Award (WYIIA) 2021, Champion I in the 2021 RANALHECOM National Health Debate Competition, Winner of Hope I in the 2021 West Java Agriculture Son and Daughter Election and Champion II in the 2021 CARBON 3.0 National Essay Competition 2021
Another representative, namely Alfa Fitri , a student at the Faculty of Law, won 3rd place in the National Agrarian Law Competition Prof. Boedi Harsono 2021, Rama Fathurachman FEB Management student won national and international champion 1st place in the National Level Student Debate Competition BEM FKIP University of Jember 2021, Best Speaker of the 2021 National Student Debate Competition RnDC UNY and UPNVJ Delegation International Youth Leader 2021.
Finally, Royal Eden More Silaban, a student at the Faculty of Medicine, won 1st place in the 2021 Bank Indonesia Corner Competition and 2021 UNS Kovalen Edu Fair which is a national level championship.
Not only sharing stories, the event was also packaged as interesting as possible with the best performances of traditional dances from the Jakarta Veterans Dance, Pencak Silat and melodious chants from students from the Faculty of Medicine.
