Third Day of Computer-Based Writing Examination at UPNVJ: 217 Participants Are Declared As Failed

UPNVJ PR - Implementation of the Computer-Based Writing Examination - Joint Selection for State University Entrance (UTBK - SBMPTN) which was held at UPNVJ went smoothly without any significant problems. As of Thursday (19/05) there were 4,200 participants who took part in the exam at the UPNVJ UTBK Center. Of these, 3,983 participants took the exam procession to completion, while 217 participants were declared disqualified for not attending the exam. It is not known for certain the reason these participants were not present at the time of the exam.

The Head of Public Relations of UPNVJ, Windhi Tia Saputra regretted the absence of these participants. "It's a shame, because UTBK is an important momentum for prospective students who want to continue their studies at the state university level. Hopefully in the future all participants will be able to attend until the exam period is over," he said.

Some participants were also noted to have visited the incorrect exam location; instead of going to the Limo Campus they went to the Pondok Labu Campus, or vice versa.

As is known, the UTBK center at UPNVJ is divided into two locations, namely the Pondok Labu campus and the Limo campus.

In addition to absentees, there are still several violations that also often occur at the UPNVJ UTBK center. Some of the violations found include; not wearing decent/proper clothing to take the exam, i.e. using T-shirts, sandals, and sweatpants. "For the rules regarding the dress codes for this exam, we follow the rules from the LTMPT and we have announced this rule long before the exam on the official website and social media of UPNVJ," added Windhi.

Another violation that still occurs is incomplete documents, such as identity cards (KTP/Student Cards/Family Cards), documents regarding graduation (diplomas/Graduation Verification Letter) and Exam Cards.

On the occasion, Windhi also urges the participants to pay more attention to the requirements that must be met before attending the exam. "So we hope that participants  thoroughly read what documents are needed, what clothes are allowed and pay attention to when the exam is held so that they don't come late," he concluded.

For information, the 2022 UTBK-SBMPTN at UPNVJ will be held in two batches. The first batch will be held on May 17 – 23, while the second batch will be held on May 28 – June 3. The total number of registered participants who will take the exam at the UPNVJ UTBK Center reaches 18,805 people.
