Rector and Vice Rector for Student Affairs Release KKN Students in Kalimantan and Indramayu

LPPM UPN Veterans Jakarta (15/7/2022) - Rector of UPN Veterans Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati released 10 students who will carry out the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program on July 15, 2022. This event was also attended by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, SpKJ., Head of LPPM, Dr. Sri Lestari Wahyuningroem, and the Secretary of LPPM, Dr. Ibn Malkan Bakhrul Ilmi, S.Gz., M.Si.

In addition, Deputy Dean (Wadek) 3 from FIKES, Ns. Santi Herlina, S.Kep, M.Kep, Sp. Kep MB, and Vice Dean 3 of FIK, Erly Krisnanik S.Kom., MM., also attended this release.
Real Work Lecture (KKN) itself is an intra-curricular activity of Higher Education that combines the dharma of education, research, and community service, all in one activity.

This program aims so that students can develop soft skills, mature personality in order to foster a national spirit, as well as self-confidence in preparing themselves to face the realities of social life. The National Community Service and Cooperation will be carried out in two places, namely Central Kalimantan and also Indramayu. This activity is also planned to last for 3 months. Students are expected to be able to carry out the program in the two locations that have different characteristics and advantages, namely Food Estate (Central Kalimantan) and Smart Village (Indramayu).

At the KKN release ceremony, the Rector of UPN Veterans Jakarta also symbolically handed over field clothes to representatives of KKN students. Through this release event, it is hoped that students can help each other to provide solutions in teams and be able to apply all the knowledge that has been obtained. "I hope that students can always be careful, take care of their health, not be selfish, help each other to provide solutions in teams and be able to apply all the knowledge that has been obtained," said Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati.
