The UPNVJ Debate Team Wins the Bronze Medal for the Scientific Branch of PORSIMNAS WIMAYA 2022

HumasUPNVJ - Jakarta Veterans National Development University continues to be proud, the students who were brought from Jakarta to Yogyakarta in the 2022 Widya Mwat Yasa National Student Sports, Arts and Scientific Week (PORSIMNAS WIMAYA) event continue to make achievements. It is evident from every competition, UPNVJ will definitely succeed in getting a medal. Similarly, the UPNVJ debate team consisting of Fauzan Ahmat Rahmawan, Raditya Rahadyansyah Rifat and Alya Rasa Dewi, a representative from the Information Systems S1 Faculty of Computer Science, won a bronze medal. Met by the UPNVJ Public Relations team on the evening of the ceremony at UPNVYK, Fauzan representing his team conducted an interview about the debate competition that he and the team participated in, "The preparations we did before participating in this competition, we had already participated in the UPNVJ Indonesian Student Debate Competition and thank God we won as well then continue by chatting more often or discussing current issues to train critical data,” explained Fauzan at the beginning of the interview.

"We really enjoy the feel of offline debate, especially after the pandemic, in my opinion there are still some things that need to be considered such as technical changes that are constantly changing, but that's not a barrier for me and the team especially all my friends from UPNVJ to fight harder for a good name campus, we have gained a lot of valuable experience and knowledge in this prestigious competition,” he concluded enthusiastically.

The debate competition consists of 3 (three) match rounds, namely: Preliminary Round, Semi Final Round and Final Round which was attended by approximately 10 teams from UPN Veterans throughout Indonesia and outside UPN Veterans.
