HumasUPNVJ - Students of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University again made achievements in the national event PORSIMNAS WIMAYA 2022. Different from the previous day's sports, this time UPNVJ students, Salwa Ziada Salsabiila S1 Informatics won the Silver Medal and Ferdinand Harry Gunawan S1 Naval Architecture. won the Bronze Medal in the PORSIMNAS WIMAYA 2022 Activity Branch Scientific Competition - Entrepreneurship Competition, Start Up Business Competition.

UPNVJ Public Relations had the opportunity to conduct direct interviews with the two winners, met at the same place, in Yogyakarta, Salwa Salsabiila and Ferdinand told about their preparations to take part in this PORSIMNAS WIMAYA event.

Salwa said that he entered this competition because he wanted to take advantage of the opportunities that existed. Salwa finalized the points that he wanted to present, "I did not prepare much myself, more towards the content of what presentation points I wanted to convey and how I delivered well to promote these products," he concluded.

Similar to Ferdinand, he also prepared important points that he wanted to present, "I prepared power points for pitching, Brand Video, financial reports and BMC, basically what I prepared were my important points when presenting later," said Ferdinand.

Participants who attended the startup business competition were from UPN Veterans Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and East Java with a total of 13 people and were held at UPN Veterans Yogyakarta. (13/7)

Salwa explained the brand he was presenting, “I presented the Central AI brand from PT Central Artificial Intelligence. Central AI as a provider of Artificial Intelligence-based technology services. I show demos of Central AI products such as Central Chatbot, Central OCR, Central Notula, Central Custom products, and Central POS whose products can be used by universities, MSMEs, companies, government agencies, and other organizations," he explained.

While Ferdinan is engaged in the garment business, "Aftur Company is a garment business or sewing vendor located in Tangerang, in addition to being in the form of aftur convection, providing unit order services or custom unit products that are varied and can be ordered through the Tokopedia service. My business was founded in 2017 and continues to develop products and services from year to year until this year, "said Ferdinand.

Salwa and Ferdinand have the same hope for all UPNVJ students, namely that they can continue to work and participate in competitions in the field of entrepreneurship because opportunities are everywhere.

Ferdinan also hopes that Indonesian students, especially UPNVJ can continue to compete with Human Resources from other countries, "I believe that young Indonesians, especially UPNVJ, have high innovation and fighting spirit. With this, we must continue to work hand in hand in sustaining the entrepreneurial skills we have, continue to support domestic products and also we as young entrepreneurs must also continue to develop their quality and services, so that people understand very well why they should be proud of domestic products. I've heard enough of the words "Well, it is Indonesia after all" maybe 3 to 5 years from now it can turn into "As expected of Indonesia". Keep up the spirit for friends, greetings to defend the country," concluded Ferdinand at the end of his interview.
