HumasUPNVJ – Writing is an important ability for students to have, both academic writing and creative writing. Many students like to write but not all know how to write well.
Departing from this problem, Kompasiana, which is a writing platform with the tagline "Sharing & Connecting", was moved to create a program that aims to provide training related to creative content to young people, especially students. Kampusiana Goes to Campus—the name of the activity—facilitates creators to share insights about creative writing and communication with the theme “Story Telling Matters” as said by Nurullah as Chief Operating Officer of Kompasiana, “We hope this activity can provide an understanding regarding literacy digital." He said when opening the event.
For the first time, Kampusiana Goes To Campus was held at the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta campus on Tuesday (21/02) at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium Lt. 4. Quoting from the words of the Acting Dean of FISIP, Dr. Kusumajanti in her remarks, this activity is the initial implementation of the collaboration with Kompasiana, "I thank you for this extraordinary opportunity. Today, Kampusiana Goes To Campus will be held, which turns out to be the first activity from Kompasiana. This is the beginning of the collaboration with Kompasiana.” That's clear.
Kusumajanti thinks that apart from being for students, this activity is also important because it involves practitioners, "... For those of us who are practitioners, this activity is very important because later practitioners can become a source of learning." he continued.
On the other hand, Nurullah, representing the Kompasiana team also hopes that through the Kampusiana Goes To Campus activities students will not only be able to create content on various media platforms but also be educated about the ethics of interacting in online media, “... My hope is that students will not only be able to create content but also understand how ethics of interacting in online media. I hope this activity can educate and provide an understanding of how to create useful and positive content." Close it.
