"We are seriously developing campus TV, which will be an important part of student learning," said Bekti, Tuesday (30/5/2023).
He stated that FISIP UPNVJ needed resource persons, practitioners and people with experience in the world of broadcasting, to participate in developing broadcasting at the Bela Negara Campus. So that later there will be harmony between the material presented on campus with the work experience that will be undertaken by students. "I think there needs to be further discussion, to deepen this cooperation," he added.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Film and Television (FFTV), Jakarta Arts Institute, Hanief Jerry said that so far the learning material for broadcasting at FFTV has excelled in creating works in the fields of film and television. It's just that he admits there are still weaknesses in the field of study of this field. "I hope this collaboration will complement each other. So that students can get the maximum experience, “he explained.
Cooperation can also be built, for example by using the perspective of defending the country. Where every citizen can have a role and responsibility to contribute to the country. Products that can be produced include documentaries from the perspective of defending the country. In addition, this cooperation is also part of the assessment of key performance indicators (IKU) 3.
He also hopes that this cooperation will be able to improve the quality of television and film production as well as support tri dharma activities in terms of creation and study. This includes increasing collaboration in the publication of patents and intellectual property rights. "For example, in the transfer of language research into film language," said Hanief.
On the same occasion, Chairman of the Indonesian Television Directors Association, Agung Cahyono said, there are many forms of cooperation that can be carried out. Starting from seminars, television program workshops ranging from journalism/news, drama/fiction, and other forms of production including films. He also hopes that there will be a master class, which will open opportunities to share practical experiences with students later.
"Our members are not only academics, but many are experienced practitioners," said Agung.
