HumasUPNVJ - Tuesday, 6 June 2023 Dharma Wanita Kemendikbudristekdikti inaugurated 24 members of the Dharma Wanita Association of UPN "Veterans" Jakarta (DWP UPNVJ) at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus.

"Alhamdulillah, now that it has been confirmed, the DWP's main task is to maintain the unity and integrity of the nation, and to establish cooperation. DWP can be a liaison between us employees and the families of employees, this is strategic for UPN we can move together, and support each other," said UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Anther Venus in his speech.

In this case, Anter Venus would also like to thank Prof. Erna Hernawati who is a professor, UPNVJ expert staff and currently also serves as UPNVJ DWP advisor.

On this special occasion, Saraswati Nizam, the wife of Prof. Ir. Nizam Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology.

"The main purpose of establishing Dharma Wanita is to foster Dharma Wanita of State Universities throughout Indonesia, we are carrying out a joint movement starting from the DWP UPNVJ, this is done to support universities to prevent sexual violence according to our vision and mission DWP Kemendikbudristekdikti" said Saraswati in her remarks .

"We will also have several trainings for mothers to be able to embrace students who have problems regarding women's sensitivity. There are many cases of students committing suicide, or not going to college because of family and other problems, so DWP can embrace us even though we are not psychologists but we can listen, embrace and find solutions together," he added.

Not only that, Teti Herawati Aminuddin Aziz, Head of DWP Kemendikbudristekdikti, also added that dharma women is a figure who will support husbands from home, office to society.

"I hope that all can benefit from one of them by establishing friendship between one employee and another, because an ASN wife must understand what her husband is doing where the husband works hard for us at home, not only understanding with this we are expected to become a liaison between employees" added Teti.
