Public RelationsUPNVJ - The third day of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) was closed directly by the French Ambassador to Indonesia, Fabien Penone. Previously, at the start of the training, Ambassador Fabien Penone was welcomed directly by Police Brigadier General Drs. Agus Pranoto.

Speaking on the sidelines of the HEMS training, Agus said that the training, which was fully supported by the air police leadership, was going smoothly and well.

"Our leadership wants the existing helicopters to be useful for the community, so we really welcome this training," said Agus.

"We have prepared three helicopters for this HEMS practice," he continued.

According to Agus, his party had planned and facilitated the activities long ago. Careful preparation is needed in order to maximize helicopters for emergency medical evacuation schemes.

Commenting on the HEMS training, which was held for the second time in Indonesia, Ambassador Fabien Penone said that Indonesia was one of the priority countries for France.

"It is very visible at this time that Indonesia is increasingly carrying out international activities. Not only involving national security, but also related to emergency health which is very helpful," said Ambassador Fabien Penone.

He added that even in the tourism sector, Indonesia is a country with "very potential."

Finally, Ambassador Fabien Penone hopes that the implementation of HEMS training can be continued to the ministerial level for further development in the field of emergency health. He said that France still had a lot to learn from Indonesia, especially regarding the concept of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika which is a characteristic of the archipelago.
