HumasUPNVJ - Great enthusiasm was seen from the participants in the Helicopters Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) training which was held in Indonesia for the second time this year. The number of second HEMS participants increased to more than 80, after only around 20 people in 2019.
One of the participants of the second HEMS training, Dr. Annisa Firizqi from Hyperbaric UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), said that this first experience was a new science that she wanted to continue to develop.
"The first experience was quite stressful at first, but after a few days I was very interested in all the knowledge in the training," said Annisa.
"If there is an opportunity for further HEMS training, I want to come back because there will definitely be the latest knowledge in each implementation," he added.
Besides Annisa, Doctor Indra Permana Putra from Onecare (Medical Evacuation) who is also a UPNVJ alumnus said that this training was badly needed in Indonesia.
"I work in Medical Evacuation, and see this training as quite interesting and having great potential for the medical world today," said Indra.
"My hope is that this training will not only become an annual activity, but can be directly collaborated and used in Indonesia," he hoped.
