Public Relations UPNVJ - As a form of developing students' non-academic interests and talents, UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the UPNVJ Student Executive Board (BEM) held the Sportavest student sports week.
This sports week is an annual agenda that is participated in by all students with the aim of being a forum for channeling students' talents and interests in the field of sports. Not only that, this year Sportavest also distributed 10% of its registration fees to the Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children (YPAC) as a form of humanity.
"By holding this event, it is hoped that students will be able to channel their talents, increase the competitive spirit of students, become a place for friendship between students, strengthen solidarity and also increase our awareness to help each other with the fund distribution program to YPAC which is included in the Sportavest agenda," explained Sultan Fasya as Project Office Sportavest 2023 in its report
Sportavest will be held for two weeks starting from September 25 to October 28 2023 at the UPNVJ Campus field and Cilandak Sports Hall.
“We have 7 sports which are divided into two esports and physical sports
"In esports, there are 3 sports, Mobile Legends, 14 teams consisting of 6 faculties, Pro Evolution Soccer, 21 people from 6 faculties, PUBGM, which for this sport is a national sport, which is attended by 40 participants from 9 provinces," explained Sultan.
Not only that, Sultan also explained that in Physical Sports there are 4 sports, namely Volleyball,
Futsal, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Badminton consisting of (Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles).
