HumasUPNVJ - As a campus with a national defense identity, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta on Wednesday 26 December 2018 held a flag ceremony at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium to commemorate National Defense Day which falls every 19 December as well as in commemoration of Mother's Day which falls every 22 December.

Acting as UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA. In his remarks, he conveyed that as a State Defense campus, UPNVJ certainly received a special mandate that must be at the forefront of carrying out the values of State Defense, namely Love for the Motherland, Awareness of Being a Nation of the State, Believing in Pancasila as the State Ideology, Willing to Sacrifice for the Nation and Country and Have the initial ability to Defend the State. Meanwhile, the main mandate conveyed in commemoration of Mother's Day with the common theme of increasing the roles of women and men in building family resilience for the welfare of the nation is that both men and women have the same task in building the nation we love, without any differences.

In addition, on this auspicious occasion, the Chancellor representing the UPNVJ extended family expressed his deepest condolences for the Tsunami disaster that befell our brothers and sisters in Banten, Lampung and its surroundings, may all victims be given the best place by His side and the families left behind will be given strength. and patience.
