Give Managerial Skills Provision to ORMAWA and UKM Management, UPNVJ Holds PKMM 2022

HumasUPNVJ - Student development is an effort that is carried out with full awareness, planning, orderly, directed and responsible for developing student attitudes, personality, knowledge and skills in supporting curricular activities to achieve national education goals.

One form of this effort or development is the provision of knowledge, skills and attitudes in the management of student organizations within the UPN Veterans Jakarta environment which is named Student Management Skills Education (PKMM). This activity was held online (in the network) / online through zoom meetings , for two days, Saturday 12 March 2022 to Sunday 13 March 2022, which was attended by approximately 250 participants consisting of main administrators from Student Organizations (Ormawa) at the faculty level and universities, as well as the main management of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) at the faculty and university levels.

The first day of PKMM began with remarks by the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Erna Hernawati, in her remarks the Chancellor said that the aim of the PKMM was to provide provisions to all Ormawa and UKM administrators to further develop the managerial abilities of students, "PKMM aims to equip students with the ability to lead by providing opportunities for students to develop managerial skills. form a spirit of leadership, have a sense of responsibility, be independent, understand patterns of decision-making, be able to motivate organizational members in developing student organizations and provide training to students in managerial skills commensurate with their respective levels of responsibility to support activities within the campus environment and outside the campus ”, explained Erna Hernawati

The first day of PKMM was filled with three speakers, including Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm. As Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs with Leadership Communication material, Dr. Drs. Prasetyo Hadi, SE, MM, CFMP as Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance with material on Leadership and Rio Wirawan, MMSI, as a lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science who gave material on Student Management Information Systems (SIWA).
