HumasUPNVJ - As many as 11 Permanent Lecturers and Hyperbaric Lab Technicians participated in the Hyperbaric Chamber training with Indonesian Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapist Prof. Dr. M Guritno Suryokusumo, SMSHS, DEA who is also a professor at UPN Veterans Jakarta (UPNVJ).

“This stage is a continuation after UPNVJ decided to have this Hyperbaric Chamber . I need to say that the Hyperbaric Chamber is one of UPNVJ's flagships that not all universities have. I always say this is a tool that will provide services and many benefits," said UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak., CPMA, CA in the opening of the Hyperbaric Chamber training in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Campus Limo UPNVJ, on Monday (14/03/22).

The Chancellor also said that it was lucky for UPNVJ when we could have this tool and also have a Prof. Dr. Guritno is a hyperberic expert who studies his knowledge in France.

"Our valuable assets are in the experts, namely Prof. Dr. Guritno, the equipment can be considered inexpensive for universities that are already big, but they don't have experts, so he is a valuable asset for UPNVJ," he explained

The Chancellor also added that the next step is about how the tool can be used to provide services that provide comfort and safety for users so that training must be carried out optimally to avoid mistakes in its use.

"For the past two weeks I have entrusted this training to be carried out to the fullest because we must really understand that there should be no mistakes during the service because this is related to human life. We have also been quite selective in choosing human resources for this training so hopefully it can be done as well as possible" the Chancellor's message before the trainers and training participants.
