HumasUPNVJ - In the framework of preparing the Master Research Design (RIP) and Community Service Master Plan (RIPKM) for 2022 - 2026, LPPM UPN "Veteran" Jakarta is holding a full board together with RIP RIPKM drafting teams from each faculty.

The activity which took place at the Aston TB Simatupang Hotel was also attended directly by the Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati and also the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Anther Venus, MA. Comm. The preparation of the RIP RIPKM draft is intended so that research and community service activities for lecturers have a frame of reference and guidelines.

"So far UPN Veteran Jakarta already has a roadmap, RIP and RIPKM, but it really needs to be updated according to current developments. Because of course there are very significant changes related to the direction of research and community service for lecturers from each faculty," said Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati.

Furthermore, Dr. Anter Venus also added that there needs to be integration between RIP and RIPKM from each lecturer. "Because of that, the drafting process is the basis of the study program, then it can bring up topics for research and community service," said Dr. Anther Venus.

"Apart from that, from the RIP RIPKM document it can be seen the expertise of the lecturers from each faculty. Then, we also need to integrate research conducted by students with research by lecturers," added Dr. Anther Venus.

Thus, the preparation of RIP RIPKM is very important according to the needs of the University and Faculty. Given the importance of RIP RIPKM preparation, LPPM also invited leaders from each Faculty to be directly involved offline and online in the preparation of RIP RIPKM.

Not only that, the preparation of RIP RIPKM drafts for each faculty was also guided directly by several external reviewers who were already experts in their respective fields.

"I specifically also asked the Chairperson of LPPM to invite qualified external reviewers who also have a good track record of research and community service. So that we can receive appropriate input from future needs regarding RIP RIPKM which will be carried out by UPN Veteran Jakarta lecturers," said Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati.

The Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta also expressed his gratitude to the leaders from each faculty who had taken the time to draft the RIP RIPKM. Then, Prof. Dr. Erna Hernawati also hopes that this draft can become a framework and guideline for lecturers' research and community service activities.
