"Last year we only had 1 year, hopefully it can increase. Judging from the enthusiasm of the lecturers participating in socialization activities, "said Dr. Dudy Heryadi.

Through this opportunity, Prof. Dr. Okid and Muh. Nur Hasan Syah, S,Gz., M,Kes gave an in-depth explanation of the tips for qualifying for the Kedaireka Matching Fund Grant.

Prof. Dr. Okid Parama Astirin, MS., said that lecturers who had previously applied could apply again this year. “Even though we failed last year, we have to try again this year. Because lecturers who have failed must have understood the stages in Kedaireka," said Prof. Dr. Okid Parama Astirin, MS.

The Chairperson of LPPM Sebelas Maret University also added that every lecturer also needs to improve their ability to negotiate and explain to reviewers about the program to be implemented.

"Because in this program there will be 3 reviewers , namely 1 budget reviewer and also 2 reviewers for substance. So it is very important the ability to negotiate and the ability to explain to reviewers , "he added.

According to Prof. Dr. Okid Parama Astirin, MS., the role of the University and Faculty is also very important to encourage lecturers to take part in the Kedaireka Matching Fund Grants. This can be done by making a schedule for submitting Kedaireka Matching Fund Grants.

"Apart from LPPM, the Faculty to Study Program levels are also very much needed to encourage lecturers to take part in Kedaireka. Because sometimes if it's not supported and encouraged, the lecturers don't propose. It would be very unfortunate for the University," said Prof. Dr. Okid Parama Astirin, MS.

Based on LPPM data, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta has experienced an increase in recipients of the Kedaireka Matching Fund grants in 2022 compared to 2021. It is hoped that this will trigger enthusiasm for other lecturers to apply for the Kedaireka Matching Fund grants this year.

"Even though it has increased from 2021, UPN 'Veteran' Jakarta's external funds are still very small. Because of that, it is still necessary to increase the recipients of external funds for 2023," said Dr. Ibn Malkan.
