Rector Calls for Strengthening Alumni Synergy and Collaboration at 5th IKA UPNVJ

Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Chancellor of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Anter Venus, gave an important speech at the 5th Congress of the UPNVJ Alumni Association (IKA) which was held at the UPNVJ Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

In her speech, Venus emphasized the importance of strengthening synergy between alumni and campus to create a greater positive impact for the university and the wider community.

The 5th Congress of IKA UPNVJ was attended by dozens of alumni from various classes, as well as representatives of the UPNVJ academic community and other invited guests. On that occasion, various important agendas were discussed, starting from the evaluation of the work program of the last four years to planning for future organizational development.

In her speech, Venus emphasized that alumni have a very important role in supporting UPNVJ's vision and mission.

"Alumni are valuable assets that can contribute in various aspects, from academic development, the business world, to social progress," he said.

Therefore, it is important for all of us to strengthen the relationship and collaboration between academics and alumni," continued Venus.

Campus and National Progress

Still on that occasion, the Chancellor also revealed that UPNVJ is committed to continuing to innovate in facing educational challenges in the digital and globalization era.

One of the concrete steps taken is to strengthen cooperation programs with industry and the public sector, to provide wider opportunities for students and alumni to develop their careers.

The 5th Congress of IKA UPNVJ was not only an event to evaluate the work program of the last four years, but also a moment to formulate strategic steps forward. The congress participants discussed the importance of strengthening the bond between alumni and alma mater, as well as discussing various collaboration opportunities that can improve the quality of education and expand the alumni network in various sectors.

In addition, this congress is also expected to strengthen social programs initiated by IKA UPNVJ, such as scholarships for outstanding students, training and career development programs for new graduates, and various initiatives that can provide direct benefits to the community.
