HumasUPNVJ - In providing understanding and motivation to Bidik Misi recipient students, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta carried out Bidik Misi Socialization for the 2018/2019 Academic Year on Wednesday 7 November 2018 in the UPNVJ Rectorate Building Lt.4.

The event began with remarks and opening remarks by Karo AKPK namely Dr.Drs. Suyatno., MM. Then it was continued with a presentation from the Bidik Misi Recipient Student Forum (Formasi) represented by Eli Rosidah. Eli explained that with the existence of a student forum that was created, hopefully this can be a place for friends who want to share and exchange ideas about bidik misi and lectures.

In addition, Drs. Ismet Yusputra, MM as the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Welfare and Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education as a speaker at the Bidik Misi Socialization for the 2018/2019 Academic Year also expressed his support for Bidik Misi recipient students at UPNVJ. He provided motivation to always focus on lectures and continue to excel. In his presentation he also explained that participants who took part in Bidik Misi would quickly get a decent job. He hopes that the children who receive Bidik Misi can give color to their respective tertiary institutions with various achievements, especially extracurricular achievements and be able to compete with others.

The desired expectation from this program according to Drs. Ismet Yusputra, MM "hopefully we can break the chain of poverty, we hope that those who previously came from underprivileged families can graduate with satisfactory grades and quality and get a good job." he said.
