Thursday - Friday, 10 - 11 March 2016 at the Fourth Floor Auditorium of the General Sudirman building UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, LPPM UPN "Veteran" Jakarta held a 2016 Research Proposal Clinic event for Lecturers in the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta environment, by presenting the Speaker Source Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Akhmad Fauzi, MMT (Head of LPPM UPNV East Java) and Dr. Irhas Effendi, M.Sc (UPNV Yogyakarta), the event was opened by Ka. LPPM Dr. Retno Dyah Kusumastuti, M.Si. The event was attended by Warek III and other invited guests.

In his speech Ka. LPPM said that lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the main task of transforming, developing and disseminating science, technology and art through education, research and community service. In a period of 3 years, namely 2013 – 2015, the interest of lecturers to conduct research and community service was still lacking, especially those proposed in the decentralization and national competitive program of the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DRPM). This is indicated by the number of proposals received by LPPM for both research and community service programs.
This activity aims to motivate lecturers at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta to be more motivated to write and research as well as a forum for learning in research activities. inventions or new theories and mastery of technology as a basis for increasing national power in creating added value to the economy and people's welfare.
