Preparing to Open a Film, Television and Media Study Program, FISIP UPNVJ Conducts Benchmarking Study at UMRAH

Public RelationsUPNVJ - In order to open the Film, Television and Media (FTVM) undergraduate study program, a delegation from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University visited FISIP, Raja Ali Haji Ali Maritime University (UMRAH) in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands on Thursday, November 15 2023.

Dean of FISIP UPNVJ Dr. Bekti Istiyanto, expressed his gratitude for accepting the benchmarking activity at FISIP UMRAH to share experiences in building a new study program, namely Film, Television and Media Studies.

“We studied here because there was cooperation that had been carried out before. FISIP UMRAH has opened a FTVM study program, which we also want to establish. Thank you for this opportunity," he said.

The UPNVJ benchmarking to Riau included a presentation regarding the establishment and management of the study program as well as the curriculum structure carried out by the FTVM FISIP UMRAH Study Program Coordinator, Jamhur Poti, Ph.D. After that, the event continued with a joint discussion.

Also present was the Dean of FISIP UMRAH, Dr. Oksep Adhayanto, SH, M.Hum, Deputy Dean I for Academic and Student Affairs FISIP UMRAH Nanik Rahmawati, S.Sos., M.Si and Lecturer in the FTVM Study Program.

The event continued with a visit to the infrastructure facilities within the FISIP UMRAH environment, including the computer laboratory, television studio, computer laboratory and auditorium.
