HumasUPNVJ - The time that the Computer Based Writing Examination (UTBK) participants have been waiting for has finally come, today 5 July 2020 is the first day of UTBK 2020.
UPN Veteran Jakarta this year will again become the UTBK implementation center with a schedule for carrying out two stages, stage I will be held from 5 to 14 July and phase II from 20 to 29 July 2020. Different from the previous year, all UTBK centers are required to prepare health protocols for the new normal era .
Starting from having to wear masks and gloves, before entering the exam room participants are required to check their body temperature and wash their hands and keep their distance, which is the main requirement for UTBK participants to enter the test location.
With the currently enforced health protocol, technically the implementation of this year's UTBK has several things that need attention. Starting from the distance between participants in the waiting room and during the exam.
In this case the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta Erna Hernawati conveyed the technical differences that were carried out by UPNVJ as the UTBK center in new normal conditions. The university is very concerned about several health protocols in accordance with those in force.
"The UPNVJ health standard refers to the health protocol guidelines of the LTMPT central committee, we also urge you to wear a mask and bring gloves before coming to campus. Then after arriving we check their body temperature and wash their hands, as soon as they go to the exam room we also provide a waiting room where we pay attention to the sitting distance between one participant and another. We have also sterilized the classrooms that we have provided by spraying disinfectants by the staff and we will give the participants gloves before the exam begins, "explained the chancellor during an interview.
There are two UPNVJ campus locations which are the locations for the 2020 UTBK. First, the UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus is located at Jalan Fatmawati Hospital No.1 Pondok Labu, South Jakarta. Second, the UPNVJ Limo Campus is located at Jalan Limo Cinere, South Jakarta.
For the capacity of participants, the pondok pumpkin campus has a capacity of 360 participants and the Limo campus has 100 participants with the implementation of two sessions in a day, meaning that the total number of participants in a day is 920 people.
From monitoring the implementation of the first day of UTBK, there were no significant problems even though the system had problems at the beginning of the exam time, but that did not hinder the overall test.
One of the UTBK participants who is domiciled in East Jakarta said that the exam that was carried out went smoothly without any significant obstacles.
"Alhamdulillah, it went smoothly, there were no server problems during the event. The supervisor's directions are also quite clear and the implementation of UTBK at UPNVJ is very much in accordance with the applicable health protocols, so that we participants feel safe and comfortable."
It should be noted that with the current condition of the Covid 19 pandemic, interested applicants for UPNVJ are not much different from the previous year.
"Seeing from the experience of SNMPTN, our enthusiasm is not much different from last year, there are still no significant changes," said the chancellor.
